Blooming a new Chasen

Before using your chasen for the first time soak it in warm water for about 10 minutes, so the bamboo tines can open up.

Care

After every use, thoroughly but gently rinse your whisk with lukewarm water and place it with the tines facing downward or on a whisk holder.
